KUALA LUMPUR, Sistem Pusat Setempat (OSC), yang menawarkan kepada orang ramai pelbagai perkhidmatan berkaitan pihak berkuasa tempatan (PBT) dengan mengurangkan kerenah birokrasi, akan dapat dilakukan secara online mulai bulan depan.
Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan Datuk Ahmad Fuad Ismail berkata sistem itu telah siap dibangunkan dan pihaknya sedang melatih pengendalinya.
"Ia akan mempercepatkan proses mengendali urusan PBT yang sering menimbulkan rungutan masyarakat," katanya kepada Bernama.
Ahmad Fuad berkata projek perintis OSC Online akan dilaksanakan di Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang bulan depan sebelum diperluaskan ke PBT bertaraf bandar raya dan perbandaran lain yang memiliki kemudahan OSC konvensional.
